Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
About Teams Squared:
We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) with strong experience in high-ticket, consultative sales to support a premium travel and rewards advisory serving Australian business owners. This is a role for a top performer: someone who consistently beats targets, can open conversations with successful entrepreneurs with confidence, and turns inbound interest and outbound prospecting into qualified discovery calls for senior closers. The ideal candidate is articulate, resilient and commercially sharp, with a proven record in premium memberships, programmes or services. Experience selling into the Australian market is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
• Respond quickly to and qualify inbound leads from online quizzes, calculators, webinars, events and call bookings
• Run outbound prospecting to business owners by phone, email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp
• Hold confident, consultative first conversations that uncover goals, travel habits, budget and buying intent
• Qualify prospects against agreed criteria and book discovery calls for senior sales consultants
• Present premium membership and programme offers clearly and handle early objections professionally
• Build and work structured, multi-touch follow-up sequences to re-engage cold and dormant leads
• Follow up with event and roadshow attendees to convert interest into booked calls
• Keep the CRM accurate and up to date with notes, stages, activity and next steps
• Hit and exceed weekly and monthly targets for conversations, qualified meetings and pipeline
• Report on activity and conversion metrics and suggest improvements to scripts and sequences
• Work closely with sales and marketing to give feedback on lead quality and messaging
• Deliver a polished, premium experience that reflects a high-end brand at every touchpoint
Qualifications:
• An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications, or an equivalent qualification
• A recognised sales certification or training (e.g. Sandler, SPIN, MEDDIC) is advantageous
• Proven record of consistently exceeding SDR/BDR targets (mandatory)
• Experience selling high-ticket or premium offers such as memberships, coaching programmes, financial services or luxury travel (mandatory)
• Excellent spoken and written English, with a confident, professional phone manner (mandatory)
• Ability and willingness to work Australian Eastern business hours (AEST/AEDT) (mandatory)
• Experience selling to Australian business owners or SMEs is highly desirable
• Strong hands-on experience with a CRM (e.g. HubSpot) and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, WhatsApp and Zoom
• Skilled in discovery, qualification and objection handling with senior decision-makers
• Interest in travel, frequent flyer programmes or credit card rewards is advantageous
• Highly self-motivated, resilient and coachable, with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
