Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer with strong technology sector experience (UK jurisdiction is a plus) to support clients on a wide range of commercial and technology-related legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience advising technology or SaaS businesses, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements governed by UK law.

This role is suited for a commercially minded legal professional who can work independently, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and provide practical legal guidance in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial and technology agreements including SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, MSAs, service agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts.

• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, technology operations, and risk management.

• Support clients on UK regulatory, data privacy, intellectual property, and technology-related legal matters.

• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks across agreements and business operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders to support business objectives.

• Ensure compliance with applicable UK laws, regulations, and industry standards is an added advantage

• Assist with contract lifecycle management and legal process improvements.

• Stay informed on developments in UK commercial and technology law.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Lawyer with a valid law degree and professional legal experience.

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in commercial law with strong exposure to technology or SaaS businesses.

• Previous experience working within the UK jurisdiction is required.

• Proven experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements governed by UK law.

• Strong understanding of commercial contracting, intellectual property, and UK data/privacy regulations.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a remote environment.
