Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal with prior exposure to either the UK or Canadian legal system to support a growing legal practice remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong family law experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.

This role requires a detail-oriented legal support professional who is comfortable handling client communication, legal documentation, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide paralegal and administrative support on family law matters.

• Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, affidavits, and court forms.

• Manage legal files, maintain records, and ensure documentation is organized accurately.

• Coordinate appointments, client communication, and follow-ups professionally.

• Assist lawyers with case preparation and matter management.

• Handle sensitive client interactions with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.

• Conduct legal and factual research as required.

• Support general administrative and operational tasks related to family law matters.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Family Law Paralegal within the UK or Canadian legal system is required.

• Strong understanding of family law procedures and legal documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.

• Experience using legal practice management software is beneficial.

• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
