About Teams Squared:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate and Estate Lawyer based in Brisbane to support legal teams handling corporate matters and estate law within the Australian legal framework.

This is an onsite role requiring regular office presence and court appearances. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in corporate law and estate matters, with the ability to independently manage legal responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on corporate matters including company formation, structuring, governance, and compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and corporate documents
• Support business transactions, including due diligence and contract management
• Handle estate related legal matters including estate administration and succession planning
• Represent clients in court and attend in person hearings as required
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, courts, and third parties
• Ensure compliance with corporate and estate related legal and regulatory obligations
• Conduct legal research related to corporate and estate law
• Maintain accurate records and documentation across all legal matters
• Support ongoing legal matters in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with a valid license to practice in Australia
• Minimum of 3-5 years Post Qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian corporate law and estate legal processes
• Proven experience in court appearances and client representation
• Strong experience drafting commercial agreements and legal documents
• Strong familiarity with Smokeball (Legal Management Software)
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential matters
• Ability to work independently while attending office and court in person
• Must be based in Brisbane and available for onsite work
