Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lawyer with strong Australian legal experience to support clients on a wide range of commercial matters. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, along with a strong understanding of Australian corporate and commercial law.

This role is suited for a seasoned legal professional who can operate independently while collaborating with client teams in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (e.g., service agreements, SaaS agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements).

• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions and business operations.

• Ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulatory requirements.

• Identify and mitigate legal risks in contracts and business dealings.

• Support clients with corporate governance and general commercial legal matters.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.

• Stay updated on developments in Australian commercial law and industry practices.

Qualifications :

• Qualified Lawyer with a valid law degree.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial law, with strong exposure to the Australian legal system.

• Proven experience handling a wide range of commercial contracts and transactions.

• Strong understanding of Australian corporate, contract, and business law.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing multiple priorities.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
