Job Description:

We are seeking a Commercial Lawyer with 3–5 years of experience in handling a broad range of commercial legal matters. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance. Experience working within the Australian legal framework, either through education or professional practice, is highly preferred.

This role is well-suited for a lawyer who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment while supporting international clients with high-quality legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, NDAs, supplier contracts, and partnership agreements.

• Provide legal advice on day-to-day commercial and corporate matters.

• Support clients with regulatory compliance and risk management across various industries.

• Assist in corporate transactions, including due diligence and contract structuring.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant commercial laws and regulatory changes, particularly within the Australian jurisdiction.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient legal support.

• Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Law and qualification as a licensed attorney is mandatory.

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial law, corporate law, or related practice areas.

• Exposure to the Australian legal system through work or education is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a remote work environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in handling commercial legal work, including contract lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with legal research tools and contract management systems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Availability to work in overlapping time zones with international clients, if required.
