Finance Intern
Job Description :
Teams Squared is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join the Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in international finance, regulatory compliance, and financial operations within a fast-growing company with group entities across Australia and Singapore.
You will be an active member of the Finance team, contributing to day-to-day finance operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives that support the company's international expansion.
Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, management accounts, and internal summaries across the company's group entities
Assist with month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is organised and audit-ready
Assist in monitoring and tracking compliance-related documentation in line with regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of statutory filings, audits, and internal financial reviews
Work within accounting software’s and other finance systems to process transactions, run reports, and maintain up-to-date records
Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline routine finance processes and improve efficiency
Collaborate with the Finance team on ad-hoc projects and reporting tasks as required
Requirements :
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Solid foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
Exposure to accounting software such as Xero will be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills including formulas, data formatting, and basic financial modeling
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle financial data accurately and responsibly
Good analytical thinking and the ability to present information clearly and concisely
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in building a career in finance
